Medeco Medeco 11WC603-05-PAS High Security Deadbolts offer a unique set of features for securing your valuables. These locks have high security features that allow you lock up your door and keep the burglars out. A single cylinder lock opens with a key from the outside, and has a thumb turn on the inside that allows you to open the lock in an emergency without the key. A double cylinder opens with a key from the outside, and you need a key to open it from the inside. You can also get a double cylinder lock that will capture the key and turn it into a single cylinder deadbolt, yet when you leave the house or office and there is no one there these Medeco High Security deadbolts turns into a double cylinder lock.

The unique features on this lock include hardened steel wedges at all drilling points, therefore a burglar cannot drill for the pins or the side bar on this lock to defeat it. The key is unlike the most popular house keys in that the cuts of the key are angled to give you a much more difficult shear-line when opening the lock. This means not only do the pins have to rise to the proper shear line to open the lock, but they must rotate to the correct angle to allow the side bar to retract into the cylinder to allow the cylinder to turn. 

With the Medeco 11WC603-05-PAS Patriot credit card type system, you have key control. To duplicate the key you must visit a Medeco Patriot dealer and give them the card that comes with the lock to have keys made for it. This means if you give a key to someone to water your plants, or tend your pet while you are away, they can’t walk into a hardware store and have a key made for your Medeco High Security deadbolts. You know who has your key.

The added armor on this lock keeps the lock solid against hammering, sawing, wrenching, “kick-in” and “ice pick” type attacks. And “lock bumping” is virtually impossible with this lock.
